For the quarter ended July 1, the company had an income of $2,797 million, up 18% from $2,369 million during the same quarter of the previous year. Net operating revenue was $12,737 million, up 47% from the same quarter of the previous year.The North America segment had an operating income of $738 million during the quarter, up 46% from the same quarter of the previous year. Net operating revenue for the segment was $5,504 million, up significantly from $2,280 million during the same quarter of the previous year.
For the six months ended July 1, the company as a whole had an income of $4,697 million up 18% from $3,983 million during the same period of the previous year. Net operating revenue was $23,254 million, up 44% from $16,199 million during the same period of the previous year.
