Walmart de Mexico has reported a quarterly net profit of $374 million, down 3.4% from a year earlier. Net sales for the quarter reached $7.3 billion, an increase of 9.1% over the previous year.
EBITDA for the quarter amounted to $642 million.
With regards to the results achieved by the company, Scot Rank, Executive President and Chief Executive Officer for Walmart de México y Centroamérica said: “The second quarter of the year was characterized by significant investment in store openings, remodels, logistics, and systems, among others."
