Seven & I-owned convenience chain 7-Eleven has expanded its presence in western New York with the acquisition of Wilson Farms. The Buffalo-based convenience store chain has 188 outlets in New York state. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
7-Eleven expects to invest to remodel the stores later this year and to introduce its own IT systems and proprietary beverages, coffee service and fresh foods.
Executive Vice President and CFO of 7-Eleven, Stan Reynolds, said: “Wilson Farms has a successful store operation, quality locations and a strong customer service culture. The combination of the two companies will strengthen our convenience offering in the western New York area.”
