Smart & Final-owned grocer Henry’s Farmers Market in the U.S. has completed its merger with Sprouts Farmers Market, Supermarket News reports. President and CEO of Sprouts, Doug Sanders said the company was taking some time to work out the best practices of each retailer, because “as similar as our companies always have been, it will take time, patience and great diligence to merge them into one".
New products will arrive on store shelves over the next few weeks, with new schemes and initiatives set to appear in store by early summer, and staff will be wearing new uniforms by September. No timescale for the change of Henry’s and Sun Harvest stores into the Sprouts banner has been given, although Sanders said it would happen eventually.
